The Roses are Blooming

Our Rose Garden was established in 2003 as a memorial to Mary Brodland and Peggy Stroh. When we built the new sanctuary on the west side of Atonement's original structure, there was a lot of landscaping to be done. Gene Brodland suggested to Ray Stroh that we incorporate a rose garden in memory of their wives. Both Gene and Ray are rose hobbyists. Ray met with Mark DePue who was chairing the Landscape Committee and a plan was developed. Gene and Ray planted the garden on the south side of the new sanctuary and continue to maintain it. The garden is now in its first bloom of the season and you are invited to enjoy the roses.
